Flexibility, quality, choice. Your study in your time.
IT Sligo is the fastest growing supplier of part-time accredited higher education in Ireland. With a long tradition of evening classes and distance learning, it has now added a substantial list of full online programmes. Our aim is to make higher education accessible, with particular emphasis on the use of technology to do so. Our courses are divided into three types:
- Classroom courses (mostly evening classes)
- Distance Learning
- Online Learning
Classroom based courses
For those who prefer to attend a classroom we have a selection of courses available (mostly in the evenings) on the Sligo campus and also in outreach centres. Click here for more information.
Distance Learning
For those who find it difficult to attend our campus in Sligo, we provide a range of distance learning courses where students work independently and attend the campus on an occasional basis. Click here for more details on what courses are available and the nature of the learning experience.
Online Learning
For those who find it difficult to attend our campus and are comfortable with using the Internet we have a large range of online courses, where students attend live lectures online and are sometimes required to attend the campus. Click here for more details on what courses are available and the nature of the learning experience. (Watch our Youtube video here!)
